Bohin Betweens Needles Between/quilting needles are short in length with a sharp point. Betweens/Quilting needles are smaller, thicker and slightly stronger needles designed for traditional hand quilting on a frame or with a hoop.  Because of the shorter shank, a Betweens/Quilting needle allows for easy control when stitching.  Betweens/Quilting needles also have a smaller eye which keeps fabric from stretching.
