Petersham was originally made out of wool but now can be found constructed out of cotton, linen, or synthetic materials like rayon and nylon. Like grosgrain, Petersham holds its shape well without fraying making it ideal for trimmings on clothing as well as upderwiring in corsetry and lingerie garments.
